They provide a range of life-changing services, including pairing visually impaired people with trained guide dogs, offering mobility and daily living skills training, and supporting children and young people with tailored services. The charity also provides information, advice, access to assistive technologies, and campaigns for accessibility and inclusion for the visually impaired.To show our commitment to this vital cause, we have added the Guide Dogs logo to our new team shirts. This initiative has been a true team effort, with parents generously contributing to the cost of the new kit and raising funds for an initial donation to the charity. Guide Dogs operates through a network of local community teams across the UK, including their headquarters in Burghfield Common, Reading, Berkshire, ensuring that their essential support is accessible to those in need.Our support doesn’t stop with the new kit. The team is already planning additional fundraising ideas, including fun sponsored challenges, to raise even more money for this incredible organization.
