he Panthers' School of Basketball Wokingham Our main Club session is on Fridays, after school at the FBC Centre, RG40 4ES.After a difficult period of time, we are now fully 'up and running' and actively looking for new members. The 'school' is aimed at introducing the game to new players - girls and boys - and teaching them the skills required in a relaxed and fun environment.  Ours is a friendly, family-oriented club with the emphasis on fun first but also development through good competition and good coaching. We have established multiple pathways and have had a number of players move on to play junior National League and also represent the South of England All players will play in the session best suited to their ability and confidence levels to allow them to gain experience and confidence - the following is only a guideline. session 1: 15:45 – 16:45 - Beginners (Yrs 3, 4 & 5)Session 2: 16:45 – 17:45 - Intermediates (Yrs 6, 7 & Session 3: 17:45 – 18:45 - Girls (all ages)Session 4: 18:45 – 19:45 - Older boys (Y8 +)All sessions are a mix ofi) drills aimed at improving movement skills as well as shooting, dribbling and passing andii) matches or breakdown situations intended to teach the game itself. Fees can be paid termly or half termly. All members will also be registered with Basketball England. There is no charge for your first 'taster' session so come and have a try ... see if you like it.
